Central Bank reports inflation in May

The Central Bank says that the Consumer Price Index increased 0.25% in May. So far accumulated inflation for January-May 2016 is -0.42% and the inter-annual May 2015 to May 2016 inflation rate is 1.71%. The Central Bank has forecast a year’s end inflation rate of 4.0% (? 1.0%).

Increases were verified in the categories of transport (1.28%) and housing (0.62%), but these were compensated by a decline of -0.39% in the food and non-alcoholic beverages group.
