The final of the National Speedracing Championship (Campeonato Nacional de Velocidad) begins this Sunday, 19 June 2016 at the Sunix Race Track on the Las Americas Expressway. Dominican and international competitors in several categories are competing for the Gran Premio Kendall.
The categories are Dominican Touring Series (DTS), with the participation of Chip Herr of the Sarraf Racing Team from the United States driving a Mazda, Milo Valverde from Carlab Motorsports of Costa Rica in a BMW.
Also from the Dominican Republic, Gustavo (Kiko) Cabrera will be racing for Autohaus Racing in a Seat. Cabrera is the champion in the category for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Juan Carlos Leroux will be competing in a Honda. Alfredo Najri of Delta Motorsports will be competing in a Lexus. Pedro Sued, representing the Cibao region, will be racing in a Mazda.
