The Dominican government’s Ministry of the Presidency, Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Industry and Commerce and economists from the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) have been holding talks for the validation of strategies for the strengthening of the value chain for rural tourism in Pedernales. The diagnostic studies are being funded by ECLAC’s International Farming Development Fund (FIDA).
