According to reports, several retired Yankee ballplayers recently vacationed in Casa de Campo. Retired sportsmen Derek Jeter, Tino Martinez, Jorge Posada and Andruw Jones played golf at the resort, as reported in Listin Diario. Reporters from the newspaper showed Jones in a photo on his Instagram page with Jeter, Martinez and Posada enjoying Dominican fried patties and Presidente beer.
Andruw Jones played for the Aguilas Cibaenas of the Dominican Republic in 2009.
