A play that focuses on Dominican immigration is set for Teatro Las Mascaras of Calle Arzobispo Portes 56 in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo starting Friday, 1 July 2016. The show is scheduled for 8:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays and at 6:30pm on Sundays in July and August.
The play is an adaptation of the text by Argentinean playwright Nelly Fernandez, originally titled Made in Lanus. The play was renamed Made in Argentina when it was adapted for film.
Made in Dominicana is directed by Germana Quintana. The starring roles are by Lidia Ariza, Jose Manuel Rodriguez, Wendy Alba and Luciano Garcia (in the role of Dominican Yorks). Tickets are RD$500.
