The Central Bank forecasts GDP growth in 2017 at 5.5%, compared to 6.25% for 2016. The Central Bank says there has been a slowdown in the manufacturing sector. Growth is expected to decelerate even further, reaching 5% in 2018. Inflation is expected to remain at 4.0% ± 1.0%. The Central Bank also expects the non-financial public sector deficit to reach 2.7% of GDP for 2016.
