President-elect of Haiti, Jovenel Moise visited the construction site for the Punta Catalina 720-megawatt coal-fired plant yesterday, 17 January 2017.
Moise was hosted by the executive vice president of the Dominican Public Electricity Corporation (CDEEE), Ruben Jiménez Bichara. He also toured the installations of the Monte Plata Solar plant, the largest of its kind in the Dominican Republic and the Central American and Caribbean region.
