Two people died and another four were injured in the municipal district of Maizal, Esperanza, Valverde province, when the vehicle they were travelling in left the road.
The two who died, Jhowin José Fernández Morán, aged 26 and Luis Miguel Cerda Peña, aged 22, both lived in Cristo Rey in Santiago and both died of severe head injuries.
The four who were injured, suffering from trauma and fractures, were taken to a private clinic in Esperanza and then transferred to Santiago, and were Noel de Jesus Espinal Fabián, Kelvin José Fernández, Kenluis José Rodríguez Morán and a minor, 15-year old Wolmy Rodríguez.
