With the DR playing without their best player, Víctor Estrella, Chilean tennis players won all the five matches and took home the Americas Zone I trophy. The teams were the 2017 Americas Zone Group I first round tie.
The Chileans will now go on to take on Colombia from 7-9 April 2017.
