The Spanish Embassy in the Dominican Republic reported on 8 February 2017 that since 20 January 2017 Schengen visa appointments need to be made at the offices of BLS International, located on the second floor of Unicentro Plaza, in locale 46, on Abraham Lincoln Ave. at the corner of 27 February in Santo Domingo. The embassy noted that the VFS Company is no longer accepting appointment requests for Schengen visas.
