Former President Hipolito Mejia has declared that once again he would like to be the candidate for President representing the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) for the general elections in 2020.
Mejia, who was President from 2000 to 2004, made the declaration on Sunday, 19 February 2017 when visiting the La Vega carnival.
Former PRM candidate, Luis Abinader has also expressed interest in winning the party’s presidential nomination for 2020.
