DR plays Canada in WBC on 9 March

The Dominican Republic is the favorite as the World Baseball Classic opens today with games starting for Pool C in Miami at Marlins Park on Wednesday, 8 March 2017. The DR plays its first game against on Thursday at 6pm. The World Baseball Classic runs through March 22. The DR plays Canada, Colombia and the United States in Pool C from 9 to 13 March 2017. The Dominican team is managed by Moisés Alou.
