Hacienda Minister Donald Guerrero and United Kingdom Ambassador Christopher Campbell signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday whereby 500 million sterling pounds (approximately RD$30.3 billion) will be made available for purchasing UK goods and services to back important infrastructure works.
The funds are targeted for use in electricity, energy generation, potable water and residual waters treatment projects. These will be channeled by the United Kingdom export-financing agency, the UK Export Finance (UKEF).
