PLD Senator for Santiago, Julio César Valentín has issued a press release having learned that there is an arrest order issued against him in connection with the Odebrecht bribe case.
He said that it was his duty to speak to the country following the accusation and especially to the residents of the city that elected him, Santiago. He said that he, too is subject to the law as a citizen and highlighted his strict adherence to such law in his over 20 years in public service.
Valentín demanded that the authorities check every inch of his track record and all that he has carried out in public life. He said he was totally confident nothing to connect him to the supposed Odebrecht bribes nor bribes from any other company would be found.
