
Industry and Commerce Minister Temístocles Montás has written to the President Danilo Medina putting his job at the disposition of the President following his arrest as part of the group suspect of receiving bribes from Odebrecht. Montás highlighted his long public service and loyalty and maintained his innocence of the charges.
Recently, there were reports that the US Embassy had revoked his personal travel visa to the United States.
