The Ministry of Environment and the National Botanical Gardens, Dr. Rafael Moscoso, is inviting the public to celebrate an “Environmentally Friendly Family Day” at the Santo Domingo botanical gardens. This is on occasion of Global Environment Day. Admission will not be charged on 5 June 2017.
The event is celebrated as per Decree 363-13 that calls for the Ministry of Environment to organize special events on the first Sunday of June of every year. The Botanical Gardens are open from 9am to 5pm to the general public.
