A member of the security detail of the wife of Minister of Interior and Police, Carlos Amarante Baret, was killed on Monday night, 5 June 2017, when he was on his way to his home in the La Venta sector in Manoguayabo.
National Police Corporal, 28-year old Charle Valerio, was killed in a presumed assault to steal his service weapon. He was the bodyguard of Amarante Baret’s wife.
