The Attorney General has said that he will evaluate a request made by the family of Ángel Rondón, asking that he not be sent to La Victoria. They are concerned for his wellbeing. Judge Francisco Ortega ordered pre-trial detention for Rondón as requested by prosecutors. The Attorney General said that the request will be evaluated and responded to in due course.
