Media reports indicate that former administrator of the Dominican Public Electricity Corporation (CDEEE), César Sánchez suffers from kidney stones. While under pre-trial detention in the Odebrecht corruption scandal, Sánchez was taken to the Centro Médico Dominicano after falling ill when at the Najayo Men’s Jail. Visits at the Centro Médico Dominicano are restricted, said César Cedeño, a fellow Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) political party member.
