
The president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Doctor Mariano Germán Mejía, swore in the new judges Claudia Peña Peña and Ursula Carrasco Márquez, yesterday, Monday 31 July 2017.
According to a press note, judge Claudia Peña Peña will become judge to the Second Courtroom of the Superior Administrative Court and judge Ursula Carrasco Márquez is promoted to judge of the First Courtroom of the Superior Administrative Court.
During the swearing in ceremony, German Mejia urged the new judges to continue to work to strengthen the Judicial Branch so that we can better administer justice in the country.
