President Danilo Medina appointed Marcelo Salazar Alberti as the new director of the Foreign Commerce and Trade Treaty Management Agency (Dicoex) of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Small Business (MICM). He replaces César Dargam who recently resigned to take the position as executive director of the National Business Council (Conep). The announcement of the appointment is contained in Decree 264-17.
Prior to this position, Salazar was in charge of the Department Latin American Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Relations (Mirex).
