Ministry of Education (Minerd), the Ministry of Higher Education (Mescyt) and the National Institute for Teacher Training (Inafocam) announced a major push to get students to pursue a teaching career. The government has 20,000 full scholarships available for students interested in studying primary or secondary education in universities throughout the country. The scholarships include tuition and a monthly stipend to encourage full time studies.
