
A Curacao government mission toured the solar energy complex in Monte Plata hosted by General Energy Solutions, through its regional office of Electronic JRC, that operates the solar energy installation. A first phase of the complex produces 33 MW of renewable and clean energy. The installation was built by Solventix Caribbean.
During the tour, Arnaldo Bisonó, the manager for business development and the representative of Electronic JRC, announced that construction of a second phase and its interconnection to the national electric grid will begin in the fourth quarter of this year. He noted that the second phase of the project will complete 69 MW of clean energy for the national grid.
