It was too late. Despite the attending physicians of a newborn to Jehovah’s Witness parents pushing through justice a court order that allowed for a needed blood transfusion, the baby girl was not able to be saved. The Santiago court ordered the transfusion after the resistance of the parents on grounds of religious convictions. Noticias SIN reports, nevertheless, that the baby did not survive.
