
The president of Karisma Hotels & Restaurant, Rafael Félix Germán met with President Danilo Medina to report on the start of construction of the El Dorado and Sensimar resorts in Cap Cana, each with 250 rooms, in spring 2018.
Félix also announced the company will be building the Dominican Republic’s first Margaritaville in Punta Cana with 350-rooms and construction starting in 2018.
He also announced an additional 350 rooms would be added to the Nickelodeon Resort (Sensatori) that opened last year in northern Punta Cana.
The global additional investment is around US$300 million by the company. Félix highlighted that all around some 3,000 permanent jobs would be created with the new resort developments.
