The Ministry of Tourism announced last week the development of the Dominican Republic Live campaign to show off that Dominican tourism destinations have returned to normalcy after the passing of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017. The advertising campaign seeks to ease any doubts potential tourists may have about vacationing in the Dominican Republic given to the widespread coverage of the effects of the September hurricanes in the Caribbean.

“We want travelers that are considering a visit to confirm their vacation plans without concerns,” said Tourism Minister Francisco Javier García,

The campaign focuses on how all airports, ports and roadways are up and running without delays and the tourist can enjoy the usual quality Dominican vacation experience. The campaign focuses on Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, La Romana-Bayahibe, Samana and Puerto Plata, the country’s leading tourism destinations.

The Dominican Republic is the leading tourism destination in the Caribbean.
