The Federation of Associations of Professors of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (FAPROUASD) began a 24-hour strike on Wednesday 8 November 2017 that they hoped would be supported 100%.
The union is demanding back pay and pay for expenses and that the outstanding 5% pay rise also be paid. Faprouasd has called for a general assembly today to decide on what actions they will now take.
