The Metropolitan Transport Authority (DIGESETT-AMET) announced that starting Monday, 20 November 2017, traffic on the Andrés Julio Aybar Street from Lope de Vega to Agustin Lara in the Poligono Central will be only in the east-west direction. The goal of making the street one-way is to reduce traffic bottlenecks in the area.
The decision was taken after the DIGESETT-AMET conducted several studies in coordination with the city government of Santo Domingo (ADN).
