DR Police and ICE to exchange information on criminals

National Police director Ney Aldrin Bautista Almonte and the regional deportations officer for the United States, Adrian Macias of the ICE, signed an agreement on 14 November 2017, to conduct digital exchanges of information to fight transnational crime. Bautista said the initiative will enable investigation agents to carry their work more efficiently and effectively. Macias said the agreement will improve the response capacity of both countries to transnational crime. The agreement was signed through the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agencies.
