
The Las Americas Institute of Technology (ITLA) is opening a branch in Punta Cana this coming 23 November 2017. The ITLA will offer short technical training programs in a number of fields, such as mobile applications and webpage design, among others. The ITLA Punta Cana has capacity to offer instruction to 60 students every six months.
The local power utility, the Consorcio Energético Punta Cana-Macao (CEPM) and the Verón-Punta Cana Touristic Municipal District signed a cooperation agreement for the donation of 15 computers, construction of the bathrooms of the center, part of the furnishing and Internet service.
