With less than 20 games remaining in the Regular Season, the Gigantes del Cibao, Estrellas Orientales and Aguilas Cibaeñas are in a back and forth fight for the top spots in the standings. Two of the mighty teams in Dominican baseball history, the Tigres Del Licey and the Leones Del Escogido are still under .500 and trying to make the playoffs. The Toros Del Este seem to be doomed to finish in last place during the Regular Season, giving their team players an early vacation.

Estrellas Orientales (19-13), Aguilas Cibaeñas (19-14), Gigantes del Cibao (19-14), Leones del Escogido (16-18), Tigres del Licey (16-18), Toros del Este (11-23). The top four teams move on to the semi-finals in late December.
