1,047 kilos of cocaine seized in Barahona

The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) announced that 1,047 kilos of cocaine were seized in Paraiso, Barahona. As reported in the Thursday, 14 December 2017 operation, five persons were arrested and firearms and several vehicles were confiscated during the anti-drug operation in Barahona.

Barahona prosecutor Ivan Gomez Rubio says there are businessmen and city officers involved. The DNCD reported the arrest of Venezuelan Jorge San Juan and Dominicans Rosario Samboy, Neyci Suero, Martin Beltre and Bolivar Matos.
