The National Police has announced that they have dismantled more illegal operations for producing alcohol in Azua and Santiago Rodriguez provinces, which were making rum and whisky as well as cleren, the latter responsible for several deaths over the Christmas period.
The laboratories were found in the Los Parceleros sector in Azua, and in Las Carreras street in Azua they found several demijohns of Triculi, another alcoholic drink which were being sold by Nuris and Victor who are now fugitives from justice. In Santiago Rodriguez province, illegal factories were raided in Villas Los Almacigos, Moncion and San Ignacio de Sabaneta.
