Oncologist raided in the case of Quirinito

Prosecutors and members of the Criminal Investigation Division (Dicrim) have raided the examining rooms of the oncologist César Augusto Rojas Núñez who has been interviewed several times in connection with Pedro Alejandro Castillo Paniagua “Quirinito”, who has an international arrest warrant out in his name. Qurinito was sentenced to 30 years in jail for murder, but maneuvered his way through the justice system until being authorized to domiciliary arrest after medics testifying he had terminal mouth cancer. His wife and lawyer presented a medical certificate of his death, but his body or proof of incineration has not been presented, nor are his whereabouts known.

The office on the sixth floor of the Unión Médica Clinic in Santiago was raided to obtain information about “Quirinito”.

It is said that he went to the clinic three times where he was diagnosed with tongue cancer in an advanced stage.
