El Caribe reports that a newly wed Italian who had gone missing after marrying in Sosua, Puerto Plata, on the north coast, was found alive, and with another woman in the beach town of Boca Chica, on the south coast. El Caribe speculates the Italian, Matteo Baldasi, had a nervous breakdown after his wedding in Sosua.
As reported, Baldasi flew in with his girlfriend who he married on Friday, 5 January 2018, and then left where he was residing without telling where anyone where he was going. Relatives of the wife reported the disappearance to the Police, asking for help in locating him. An investigation showed he was in Boca Chica.
