President Danilo Medina and First Lady Candida Montilla received the traditional New Year greetings at the Presidential Palace on 10 January 2018. They were accompanied by Vice President Margarita Cedeño. The diplomatic corps, top brass of the Police and the military, key members of the three branches of government, ministers and directors of cabinet positions stopped by the Presidential Palace to wish the President and Vice President the best in the New Year.
