Former presidential candidate for the leading opposition political party, the PRM, Luis Abinader announced hiring the counsel of Guiliani Partners for recommendations on solutions for the rising number of femicides in the Dominican Republic. This extends the consulting on citizen safety that Guiliani Partners has offered to Abinader, a 2020 PRM presidential candidate hopeful.
The announcement was made in a press conference with the participation of Guiliani Partners Global Security Services officers John Huvane and George Boyle. The specialists called for a proactive rather than reactive approach by government. Upon making the presentation, Abinader highlighted that femicides are epidemic in the country.
