
A sign collapsed from the third floor of the Silver Sun Gallery located on Av. Tiradentes seriously injuring a pedestrian, poet and writer 47-year old Homero Pumarol. He was on his way to a nearby gym.
As reported, the sign was swept by a strong breeze and collapsed meters below after springing off cabling. The accident occurred around 10am on Wednesday. Listin Diario reports the billboard is nowhere to be seen.
Passersby called 911 to assist Pumarol who was taken to the Plaza de la Salud where his face wounds were cured.
