Foreign Minister Miguel Vargas received a delegation from the Danish government to discuss strengthening the relations between the two countries. According to a press release, those attending the meeting were the Danish Justice Minister Sorem Pape Poulsen; Migration Minister Inger Stoberg and Welfare Assistance Minister Mai Mercado along with Deputy Sports Minister Frans Hjorth.
During the meeting, Vargas explained that one of the Dominican government’s objectives is to create relationships with other countries and in the case of Denmark, to deepen both diplomatic as well as consular relationships in terms of investment and bilateral cooperation.
