The National Police helped its officers sponsoring the wedding of 17 agents at the Santo Domingo headquarters. The wedding, organized by the Asociación de Esposas de Oficiales de la Policía (ASEOPNA), began with a Sunday mass at the Police Palace by Father Alejandro Cabrera. The wedding was conducted at the Officers Club and officiated by civil registry judges Laura Patricia Adames Reyes and Francisco Pérez.
The godfather and godmother for the wedding were Major General Ney Aldrin Bautista Almonte, director general of the Police and his wife Olimpia Lora, president of the police wives’ association. The newlyweds then enjoyed an elaborate musical show and received numerous gifts.
