President Danilo Medina issued decree 117-18 that instates automatic renewals for sanitary registrations. The Ministry of Public Health is given 30 days to upload the online platform for producers and national exporters to register online.
The president of the National Business Council (Conep) Pedro Brache said: “For the business sector this is a landmark decision because before the renewal of the registrations could last up to 18 months.” He said this is a big step ahead for local competitiveness.
