
Cristobal Marte, the man behind the world class status of the Dominican volleyball team, delivered to Sports Minister Danilo Diaz 1,000 Molten brand volleyballs. This is a second time Marte has made a donation of 1,000 volleyballs. He said efforts are underway for donations of balls in 2019 and 2020 by the sports company for a total of 4,000 balls for public schools nationwide. The donation is valued at RD$2.8 million. The balls were donated to the Dominican Volleyball Federation.
Marte is president of the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (Norceca).
Molten brand volleyballs are used in the Olympic Games, the Pan Am Games, the Central American Games and the professional leagues.
