British Airways is advertising new fares from London to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from £240 one way. The competitively-priced basic air fares on the long haul route do not include check in luggage, for which an additional £80 is charged on a return journey. The normal fares include two pieces of hand luggage. A backpack and carry on, for example, would qualify.
