The POP Food Fest is set for 17 to 20 May 2018 off the Playa Dorada Golf Course in Puerto Plata. The Food Fest coincides with the Playa Dorada Golf Club and Puerto Plata DR Open PGA Tour Latinoamerica from 14 to 20 May 2018. More than 144 golfers from all over Latin America are expected to participate in the tournament.
The organizers of the four-day food event have grouped together food trucks with the cooking of leading town restaurants, including Los Jefes, Oveja Negra, El Camión RD, Hill Billy’s, Shaggys, Yonas Buffalo and La Porteña. This is an event targeted to Dominican families living in the north coast, in addition to visitors, said Paul Brugal, president of the Playa Dorada Golf Course.
