The Riu Republic Hotel in the northern Arena Gorda area of Punta Cana beach strip is promoting family vacations with the new Splash Water World Park, at the 300-room Riu Republic Hotel that is part of the cluster of Riu hotels in Punta Cana. The water park features four large water slides in addition to three new swimming pools.
The water park designers have incorporated attractions like the Body Vortex, a closed body slide that shoots guests towards the pool. Also the Kamikaze, with its drops from meters up, and the free-fall slide for those wanting to experience the sensation of flying directly into the pool. There is also a small children’s pool with slides and special attractions for them.
In addition to the Republic, the water park is included in the packages of tourists staying at the Riu hotels Palace Punta Cana, Palace Macao, Palace Bavaro, Naiboa and Riu Bambu in the Arena Gorda area.
