A public school in Moca, Espaillat province shows that when there is a will, there is a way. A YouTube is circulating nationwide showing the creativity of the directors, teachers and students at the El Corozo Polytechnical School in the northcentral community. The public school opened three years ago offering students the possibility of learning new skills from 8 to 4pm.
The students and teachers are making the most of the new facilities at the 902-student school that serves students in 7th to 12th grade. The school works closely with the governmental technical training institute, Infotep, that offers training courses. In the video by Claudio Caamaño Velez, Pedro Paulino, director of the center, highlights the training courses, labs and sports programs also offered to the students.
