Beginning 1 June 2018, JetBlue starts nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) and Santiago’s Cibao International Airport (STI). The carrier will offer one daily round-trip flight on 150-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.
The flight is in time for peak summer travel. It is JetBlue’s fifth route from Santiago.
The Fort Lauderdale new route bolsters JetBlue’s presence as the leading carrier in the Dominican Republic. The airline flies from the United States airports to La Romana, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana and Santiago international airports.
The airline on 3 May 2018 began another new flight, the Santo Domingo (SDQ) to Newark (EWR) nonstop flight.
