Attorney General Jean Alain Rodríguez has announced that on 9 June 2018 he will reveal the results of the investigation into the Odebrecht bribery case and its linkages within the country.
He said that on the same day of the announcement, formal charges will be filed against individuals, who, according to the United States Department of State, are suspected of having received part of the US$92 million in bribes paid to Dominican officials.
Jean Alain Rodriguez stated that on that day the Dominican people can see what work they have done and never before had they worked so hard to search for the truth and confirmed there would be no impunity.
