Farmers nationwide celebrated the rains that came with the passing on Tuesday, 10 July of a tropical wave, a remnant of Tropical Storm Beryl. Diario Libre carries statements where farmers call these a blessing and a miracle. No damages are reported by farmers. On the contrary, Eric Rivero, the president of the Association of Milk Producers (Aproleche), says that the recent rains are helping solve problems caused by recent drought.
