Intense rains falling in Greater Santo Domingo on Tuesday, 10 July 2018 caused the collapse of the gate of a public high school that had been inaugurated just a month ago. The high school, the Liceo Estado de Israel is located in Bellas Colinas in Santo Domingo West. The residents in the area attributed the collapse to structural errors in the construction.
